One of region's favorite Zydeco bands will bring that Louisiana flavor to the Eighth Annual Zeta Zydeco sponsored by the Pi Omega Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Old Settlers Association.

J.J. Caillier and the Zydeco Knockouts will play the event that blends a mixture of Zydeco and soul. The evening with a little something for the entire family features a Step Show, plenty of catfish, jambalaya, and merchant vendors, showcasing everything from jewelry to home products.

The Step Show from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. features high school groups competing for a cash prize and trophies.

Cost is $10 in advance; $15 at the door; and the Step Show is $5 at door only.

Proceeds benefit the scholarship programs of the Pi Omega Zeta Chapter.
