The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Thomas E. "Doc" Rainey, presents its final concerts of the season, and both are free. The orchestra will perform on Friday evening, May 18, at the San Gabriel Park Pavilion in Georgetown, and on Old Settler's Park Pavilion . Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m., and feature a program of M&M's -- Marches And More:
- Marches: Washington Post, Radetzky March, Stars & Stripes Forever
- Novelty Pieces: Bugler's Holiday, Pennywhistle Jig
- TV & Movie Themes: What's up at the Symphony, Superman Returns
Immediately following the May 19 concert, you are invited to join the orchestra's musicians and society members for a covered dish picnic. Please bring bread, or another favorite dish, to share. The WCSO society will hold a brief business meeting during this time, to elect next year's officers.
