Elements of Jazz: An Eight Part Video Course continues 10:30-11:30 am Fridays through February at the Baca Center for Senior and Community Activities, 301 W. Bagdad Street.

Narrated by Bill Messenger, professional musician and instructor at Peabody Conservatory of Music, the videos cover the history of jazz from its beginnings on the plantation, through ragtime, blues, swing, boogie, bop, and modern jazz.
