Opening of Round Rock's Dog Depot
Round Rock's first dog park!

Celebrate with the City of Round Rock as we open our community's first dog park, the 1.5 acre Round Rock Dog Depot from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29

The fenced park, within Round Rock's Lake Creek Park, 800 Deerfoot Drive, will be a leash free area for dogs in the city limits. At the grand opening, browse vendor booths and enter your dog in a costume contest!

Please note that until the official park opening on Saturday, the park is still a construction site as the city is finishing up the final details. For the safety of yourself and your dog, we ask you to please wait until Saturday before coming out to preview the park.

Itinerary:
9:45-10 am = guests may enter the fenced dog park with their dogs kept on leash. Vendor area open. 10:15 am = welcoming remarks 10:20 am = dog park officially open

Activities:
10:30 am fly ball demo #1
10:45 am dog costume contest
11:30 am flyball demo #2
11:30 am best trick contest
10:30 am

Vendors include: Round Rock Animal Control, Petsmart (grooming demonstration), Williamson County Humane Society (spay/neuter and adoption info), Triple Crown, Doggy Day Out (flyball demonstration), White Rock Vet Hospital, IKEA, Premier Animal Hospital. 
Vendor registration is now complete.

Park rules and information

Current Amenities: three fenced areas. One for small dogs and one for large dogs over 40 lbs, and a regrowth area. Turnstyle entry to keep any pets from escaping.

Future Amenities: Running water, dog water play area, benches, parking, volleyball courts in park, and trail connecting to AW Grimes and Clay Madsen Recreation Center
