The Lost Pine Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist Program presents a free Energy Savings Awareness Discussion at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the Round Rock Public Library.

Saving energy is a great win-win situation. You save money and you help the environment. This discussion will talk about simple ways you can save energy in your home including using CFL lights, energy-smart landscaping, programmable thermostats, and more. Bring your ideas as well.

We will also discuss choosing an electricity provider 'on the grid' and just what is a "kwh" anyway.
