The book selection for Round Rock Reads 2008 is Texas in Her Own Words by Tweed Scott.

As part of this community reading event, the Round Rock Public Library and the Round Rock Higher Education Center present a screening of The Unforseen -- A Documentary about the development around Barton Springs in Austin and nature's unexpected response to being threatened by human interference.

The screening will be at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7 at the Round Rock Higher Education Center.
