The Round Rock Public Library presents Genealogy from Scratch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in meeting Room A.
Are you excited about finally starting to research your family history but don’t know what to do first? Some Williamson County Genealogical Society members have been in your shoes, and they can help you.
“Genealogy from Scratch,” presented by Betty Jean Steinke and Teresa Tucker, will suggest where to search for information, demonstrate how to get organized, and help you avoid pitfalls commonly to beginning researchers. Bring your own lunch and beverage to enjoy between morning (9 a.m. to noon) and afternoon (12:30 to 3 p.m.) sessions; dessert will be provided.
Round Rock Public Library will host this class in meeting room A. Please call 218-7000 to register.
This is a demonstration class, not a hands-on computer tutorial. Handouts will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your notebooks or records.
