Have you ever wondered how to get started on your family’s genealogy or how to organize your research? Maybe you don’t know where or how to search for information. Betty Jean Steinke of the Williamson County Genealogical Society will show you what all beginning family history researchers should know on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009.
The morning session will begin at 9 a.m. in the Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room A. Bring your lunch (we’ll provide dessert) and the afternoon session will begin at 12:30 p.m. also in the meeting room.
Please call 218-7000 or visit the Round Rock Public Library to register. This is a demonstration class, not a hands-on computer tutorial. Handouts will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your notebooks or records.
If you would like more information about this topic, or to schedule an interview, please call Michelle Cervantes at 512-218-7000 or e-mail at mcervantes@round-rock.tx.us.
