It pays to be a member of the Clay Madsen Recreation Center! In January, the Center is kicking off a series of new drop in aerobics classes free for all recreation center members for two weeks from January 5- January 16.
Classes include Mat Pilates, a class that increases energy level while improving your core strength and posture. Zumba – a fusion of Latin dance rhythms and fitness aerobics. Mat Pilates: This class increases your energy level, muscle tone and flexibility while improving your core strength and posture. it is based on the classical pilates principles and movement sequence. Emphasis on abdominal strengthening. All levels welcome. Drop-in class.
Pilates Plus: This pilates class is a total body workout. It uses pilates matwork and incorporates weights, bands, balls, and other small equipment to make the class more challenging. postural alignment, co-ordination and strength will be attained. All levels welcome. Drop-in class.
Body Sculpting: Strengthen your muscles in this high energy strength endurance class that will work the legs, arms, back, and abdominals. A total body workout that uses weights, bands, balls and other small equipment apparatus to keep the body strong and healthy. Drop-in class.
Zumba: A fusion of Latin dance rhythms featuring interval training sessions using fast and slow sessions. This sensation has taken over the U.S. as the fastest growing fitness aerobic trend. Come join the party! For all levels. Drop-in class.
Vinyasa Yoga: This class focuses on body awareness, posture, flexibility and strength. **Yoga classes are done per session and cost extra. See Program Guide for details.**
Restorative Yoga: This class is a form of “active relaxation” using deep stretching, increased flexibility, stress reduction, and deep relaxation. **Yoga classes are done per session and cost extra. See Program Guide for details.**
Boot Camp: This class combines the use of body weight resistance, plyometrics, and cardio to give your whole body a workout. **Boot Camp classes are done per session and cost extra. See Program Guide for details.**
