Round Rock Reads! activities will kick off with the Dan Moody Bus Tour at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10. The tour will depart from the Robert G. & Helen Griffith Public Library in Round Rock and travel to the Williamson County Courthouse in Georgetown, where the attendees will see the courtroom where Dan Moody was the first district attorney in the nation to successfully prosecute members of the 1920’s Ku Klux Klan. (Lunch will be on your own in historic downtown Georgetown.) From there, the bus tour will travel to the Dan Moody Museum in Taylor. The third stop on the tour is Barnes & Noble, La Frontera, where we will meet author Ken Anderson.
The tour is free of charge, but participants must register in advance. Register and get tickets at the Round Rock Public Library.
