The City of Round Rock and Hill Country Speed will host the 4th Annual Texas Road Rash Inline Skate Marathon and Half Marathon at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Round Rock’s Old Settlers Park. Register online now.

The event is the state’s premier inline skate marathon that attracts inline skaters from across the nation. The looped course makes it possible for skaters at any comfort level. Skaters can select a category and skate with others at their skating level: Pro (Elite Skaters); Pro Masters (Elite Skaters age 35+); Advanced (Skaters with previous marathon experience or can finish in 1 hour and 31 minutes); and Fitness/Recreational (Skaters that do not meet the Advanced criteria and generally skate for fitness or recreation).

Participants can enjoy a Chipotle dinner at packet pickup from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Chipotle Round Rock in La Frontera (150 Sundance Pkwy) or packets can be picked up from 6:30 to 8 a.m. on race day at Old Settlers Park. All registrants receive a short-sleeved T-shirt, packet goodies and are eligible for door prizes at the event. After the race, guests will enjoy Texas-style hospitality with race day activities to include complimentary drinks, fruit and barbecue and live music at the finish line.
