The Amistad Women's Organization presents the Williamson County Hispanic Youth Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Stony Point 9th Grade Center.
This will be a day for students and parents in Williamson County to attend workshops ranging from college and financial planning, decision making and goal setting to interviewing and dressing for success.
The event's mission is to build an awareness of the changing Hispanic demographics: assist Hispanic youth in developing skills and confidence to be committed to their education; enhance self-esteem, develop communication and leadership abilities.
