The Round Rock Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Seventh Annual Taste of Round Rock and Chamber Auction on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Dell Diamond from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event has become the largest fundraiser for the Chamber, generating more than $20,000 last year.

The Taste of Round Rock began around six years ago as an event to promote local restaurants and caterers while providing a fundraiser for the Chamber.  The first Taste of Round Rock had 20 restaurants and caterers and has more than doubled since then. This year's event will feature over 40 different food vendors and over 1,000 attendees.

The Taste of Round Rock is held in the concourse area of the Dell Diamond with covered walkways inside the gates near the concession stands. Attendees will be able to sample various foods from each of the booths or bid on items donated from local vendors.
