The Voice of Round Rock, along with Round Rock Independent School District, present a special program for a Black History Month. The theme for this year is “Embracing the Past, Turning the Page, and Impacting the Future.” Students have been challenged to create Living Monuments as well as Living Museums in addition to a traditional Essay Contest.
All are invited to attend the free event, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Round Rock ISD Performing Arts Center from 3 to 5 p.m. For more information you may call (512) 238-6922.
