Help Friends of the Library
A portion of the proceeds from this weekend will go towards Friends of the Round Rock Public Library. Barnes and Noble will donate a percentage of all the net sales from that weekend when patrons either present a voucher (PDF) at the register or tell the cashiers that their purchase is being made to help the Friends of the Library.
Vouchers apply to all purchases except gift cards and Barnes and Noble memberships. The vouchers do not convey a discount and are only good in stores, not online. Download a voucher or pick one up at the Round Rock Public Library.
Round Rock Reads!, sponsored by the Round Rock Public Libary, is an event where the community reads the same book and then discusses it and participates in special programs tied to the theme of the book. The book selection for 2010 is Isaac's Storm, by Erik Larson, about the 1900 hurricane that inundated Galveston.
