Have you worked on a development project in Round Rock? If so, you are familiar with the City’s landscape rules. Specifically, a certain amount of trees and shrubs are required on each new development site. The City also regulates the preservation of existing trees such as live oaks.
These rules have been in place for several years and need to be evaluated by the community. That’s where you, the developers, property owners, and consultants play an essential role. What are your thoughts? What is your impression of the landscaping at your office complex or shopping center?
Let us know by attending an interactive community workshop from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 9, in the Grand Meeting Room of the Allen R. Baca Center , 301 West Bagdad Ave., Building 2. Your thoughts and recommendations will be considered in any future rule changes. Now’s your time! For more information please call (512) 341-3321.
