Join the City of Round Rock's Parks Development Department for a Public Design Charrette for the upcoming Bathing Beach Project from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at the McConico Building - Community Room.
The Bathing Beach Project is a park and economic revitalization project located west of Chisholm Trail Road and north of RM620 along Brushy Creek. A section of Brushy Creek in that area was once a "bathing beach."
The design charrette will be an opportunity for residents and local business owners to be involved in the actual design of the Bathing Beach Project.
City staff and the design consultants will spend the meeting drawing multiple ideas and design concepts for the project. The charrette format allows residents and business owners to sit at a table with the design professionals and help them create a design concept for the project.
The proposed programmatic elements of the project will include historical education elements, arts & cultural elements, general park elements and elements that encourage community events and development revitalization along the corridor.
