The Round Rock Arts Council presents Chalk Walk on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5, in downtown Round Rock.
Chalk Walk is Round Rock's version of an Italian street painting festival. Artists are free to create, with chalk pastels, a picture on concrete. Drawings are created in full view of the public. Audiences are encouraged to interact with the artists as they create their pieces.
The festival includes an art auction, live music, art vendors, street performers and more.
Artists begin work on Friday evening and continue on Saturday.
Friday night is Blues, Brews & Bar-b-que Night featuring Belltower Trio.
Festivities on Saturday begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday and continue until winners are announced at 6 p.m.
