The Round Rock Public Library presents Social Media for Business 201, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14.
Anyone with a Facebook Page, Twitter Account, or Blog knows that just having these accounts aren’t enough to maximize the full potential of the social web. Deciding what to post and when, and to whom is a delicate balance of learning how to participate in the ongoing conversation happening with businesses and consumers all throughout the internet.
Social Media for Business 201 is a more advanced workshop designed to show small businesses and solo-entrepreneurs how to use the social tools available on the web to promote their business. Building on the foundation set in Social Media for Business 101, this session is a more in-depth look at specific social networks and new media tools, and provides industry tips, best practices, and creative strategies on using the social web for business. This limited-capacity workshop will allow a small number of business owners to gain valuable insight on leveraging new media effectively to enhance their business, and get their questions answered on the best ways to strengthen their online presence.
Space is limited. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
