About the Play
“Honk Twice If You’re Dead” is a fast-paced mystery play written by Chip Hadley and admirably directed by Bill Craig.

Steve’s Travel Stop and Lodge is an old school truck stop far off the beaten path. It sits at the doorstep of the Groom Lake Air Force Base, also known as area 51. But like everything else in this part of Nevada, not all is what it seems to be. The owners like the peace and quiet but you know that won’t last. Add a surly Frenchman, a lucky couple from Idaho, a journalist from Austin and a mysterious young woman from Roswell and you’ve got the makings of a story that will keep you guessing right up until the very last scene.
