The entire community is invited to the Grand Opening and Ribbon cutting for Freeman Park tomorrow, Friday, June 5 at 10:30am. Freeman Park is located at 301 Forest Ridge Blvd. Freeman Park includes 40 acres of land that now includes a horseshoe pitching area, pavilion, open fields, pathways, new parking lot, and landscaped areas. Freeman Park is a neighborhood park that is also the trailhead for our Brushy Creek Trail System.

Freeman Park is a privately funded project that has been donated to the residents of Round Rock as part of the Forest Grove Neighborhood construction project. The Park was developed by KB Home Lone Star Inc., designed by SEC Planning, LLC, and the contractor for the project was DNT Construction.

The City of Round Rock and the Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank KB Home Lone Star Inc. and The Freeman Family Trust for all their hard work in creating and donating such an amazing park to the residents of Round Rock.
