Library selects ByWater Solutions’ Koha Support

The Round Rock Public Library has selected Koha open-source Integrated Library System (ILS) to replace the SirsiDynix Horizon system. ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, will provide the migration services and support. Customers will see the change go into effect April 2016.

The driving force behind the decision to move to a new library system was a desire to enhance the user experience and improve staff efficiency. With Koha and ByWater Solutions, users will have access to a customized and mobile-friendly catalog. Staff will benefit from robust and user-friendly functions on a responsive web site. Koha/ByWater also ranked highest among the competitors for new feature development and value.

We will provide more information on how this change will affect our customers closer to the implementation date in April.
