Parks and Recreation is taking on a NEW and EXCITING event, but it does not have a name yet! Please help us by either voting for your favorite or give us your idea for a new one!

About the event:

The [insert bike ride name] is a non-competitive family bike ride and block party at night through the beautiful areas of Round Rock. The ride will start and finish at the McConico Plaza and tour around the City, all under the twinkling Texas stars. Glow-in-the-dark bike gear and flashing lights are encouraged! Bike helmets and bicycle or helmet lights are required.

Adding frivolity to this summer night ride:  Bicycle Safety Check – Don’t let your bike ruin your ride. Tire and brake checks and helmet checks courtesy of area bike shops.  Light Your Ride Contest – Spiff up your bike with glow-in-the-dark gear and flashing lights of all colors. There will be a prize for the best tricked out bike!  Featured Pit Stops – Multiple sponsors along the way add fun to the ride.  Family Festivities – Music, Refreshments, Family Activities, including an Inflatable Obstacle Course, Face Painting, Lawn Games, Children’s Crafts, and Fun!
