Keep Round Rock Beautiful
Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) is a network of dedicated Texans working together to make our state the best place to live, work and play. They equip local partners and affiliates with the tools they need to build vibrant, engaged communities. Our division is launching an affiliate program focused on mobilizing volunteers to take action across our community through local cleanups and green initiatives.
Adopt A Street Program
Volunteers adopt stretches of city maintained right of way to conduct litter pickups. This is a program that fosters community pride and provides an opportunity for your group to help prevent pollution and beautify your city.
The City of Round Rock conducts directed neighborhood cleanups where one or two specific neighborhoods are involved. Bulk trash and/or brush will be picked up from those neighborhoods only on the specified date.
The water conservation program provides free water resources to our residents. Most are available at the Utility Billing Office, located in City Hall, and the main Utility Office at 3400 Sunrise Road
The Recycling Center is the City’s drop-off location for many recyclables, including several that cannot be recycled curbside. The center also hosts Household Hazardous Waste Collections and Shred for a Paws Cause events.
Parks and Recreation is dedicated and empowered to create a positive memorable experience in people’s lives. Round Rock has 37 developed parks gracing over 2,270 acres and trail corridors. Old Settlers Park is the crown jewel, offering a generous 640 acres of rolling countryside for local events and festivals.
The Utilities and Environmental Services Department is committed to providing customers with a reliable and safe water supply, essential wastewater systems, environmental and engineering services that safeguard public health, adequate maintenance of the City’s infrastructure while protecting, conserving and enhancing the region’s environmental resources.
The Community Development Division consists of a Community Development Director, two Neighborhood Services Coordinators, a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Coordinator and a five person Code Enforcement team. Together this team helps to revitalize neighborhood and commercial areas within the City using Federal grant and City of Round Rock funds.
