TAB (Teen Advisory Board) is a group of teens ages 13-18, who meet once a month to help Teen Librarian, Miss Jane, plan teen activities/programs, select new materials, promote teen library events, and volunteer at library programs/outreach events.
To join TAB you need to:
- Commit to attending a meeting once a month
- Volunteer at least 3 times during the year at either a children’s/teen or family program, which may include set up and take down
- Fill out an application form –when positions become available we will make the application available here.
We will meet in the teen room the last Tuesday of every month, 6:30-7:30 pm on the following dates:

New members will need to attend a short Orientation with Miss Jane or one of the other TAB members at the beginning of their first meeting. You will have a tour of the library and be shown how to record your volunteer hours. YES you will get community service hours and recognition from us for your hours volunteered!
