TAB (Teen Advisory Board) is a group of teens ages 12-18, who meet once a month to help Teen Librarian, Miss Jane, plan teen activities/programs, select new materials, promote teen library events, and volunteer at library programs/outreach events.
To join TAB you need to:
- Commit to attending a meeting once a month
- Volunteer at least once during the year at either a children’s/teen or family program, which may include set up and take down
- Fill out the Teen Advisory Board application form
We will meet in the teen room the last Tuesday of every month, 6:30-7:30 pm on the following dates:

There will be a maximum of 15 members, so apply early! You will receive an email from Miss Jane to let you know if your application has been accepted.
New members will need to attend a short Orientation with Miss Jane or one of the other TAB members at the beginning of their first meeting. You will have a tour of the library and be shown how to record your volunteer hours. YES you will get community service hours and recognition from us of your hours volunteered!
