Visit our special Young Adult Collections room in the library for books, audio-books, movies, and magazines just for teens. Download digital e-books, e-audiobooks, and free music 24 hours a day.

Teen advisory board

Join the Teen Advisory Board and plan teen activities/programs, select new materials, promote teen library events, and volunteer at library programs/outreach events.

Teen clubs and monthly events 

Love books? The Teen Book Club meets the third Tuesday of every month. Do you have a passion for writing? Join our Teen Writing Group.  Please see the library calendar for exact dates and times.

Teen summer reading & special events

Fun special events and guest speakers … Events are posted on the library calendar and on the teen board within the library. The Summer Reading Challenge takes place between June – August every summer. Summer reading volunteer opportunities are also available.

Rockin’ Teen Poetry Contest

In April and May, the Round Rock Public Library accept entries to the Rockin’ Teen Poetry Contest. Teens may submit an original poem. The top poems will be turned into a book which will become part of the Round Rock Public Library’s local author collection for children. Selected writers will also be invited to showcase their work at the Round Rock Public Library’s annual Local Author Fair.
