Dogs can qualify for awards from PARD by using trails from the list scorecard. Take your pup with you as you run, walk or bike the Round Rock trails.

Round Rock Trails Challenge

Take part in the 2021 Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department’s Trails Challenge and discover Round Rock’s growing trail system!  There are over 20 miles of hike and bike trails currently in Trails ChallengeRound Rock, expanding to 26 miles in the next several years.

This is a self-guided program to complete on your own schedule and you can start at any time. You can take part on your own, with your dog, with family, with friends and with co-workers. The challenge is designed for all ages and all fitness levels.

Park Challenge #RR27X
Take part in the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department’s #RR27X Park Challenge and discover all of the parks Round Rock has to offer!This is a self-guided program to complete on your own schedule and you can start on April 1, 2021. You can take part on your own, with your dog, with family, friends or co-workers. There is also an activity section for your family to tell us more, and a map of the parks on the last page of the guide.

Everyone in the family can qualify for an AWARD by visiting all 27 parks, completing 3 specified tasks at each park. Each individual or family must complete a separate form. A photo of an individual participant, or a group picture must be taken at each parks monument along with suggested activities or activity of your choice. You may tag us on any social media platform using #RR27X or #iRRParked27X OR email the pictures to jjeffries@roundrocktexas.gov
