The 2019 Sertoma July 4th Parade is getting bigger and better than ever will again feature giant helium inflatables, marching bands and proceeds on a 1.5 mile route on Mays Street, between Mays Crossing and Highway 79. The parade will start at 9:00am to beat the heat. 

The Round Rock Sertoma July 4th parade has become a signature event in Round Rock. With 20,000 spectators made up of residents and visitors from Austin, Georgetown and beyond; the event boasts of hometown goodness.

Awards will be presented in the following categories: Mayor’s Award, Community Spirit Award, Best High School Award & Best Float (1st – 3rd).

Entry Fees & Deadlines:

$50 Business (For profit businesses)
$25 All other entries ( Non-profit, civic groups, clubs, individuals)

Deadline: Wednesday, June 14, 2019 or as space permits.
A $50 late fee may be implemented after June 14.
No applications accepted after Wednesday, June 14, 2019.

All applications will be reviewed by and are subject to the approval of event organizers. No entry will be accepted for consideration until the application process is completed. Entries in The Round Rock Sertoma July 4th Parade are expected to reflect the spirit of Independence Day and must be suitable for a family entertainment event.

The parade will not be used as a platform for special interests. All instructions and directions from Parade Officials must be obeyed. No alcoholic beverages of any type will be allowed. Entry fees are non-refundable. Please download the entire Rules & Regulations Packet above.

Decorations & Attire:
All parade entries, tow vehicles and support vehicles must be decorated in red, white and blue, in keeping with the patriotic spirit of the Parade. Any entry, tow vehicle or support vehicle not decorated may be pulled from the parade lineup. Walking Units should dress in coordinating attire or costumes to reflect their organization/business. Please download the entire Rules & Regulations Packet above.

Parade Schedule:
Thursday, July 4th 2019
4:00 a.m. Streets around the route and staging areas are closed. Crowd control barriers are set up by contractor.
7:00 a.m. Parade staging begins
9:00 a.m. Parade begins
11:00 a.m. Parade ends (approximate time)
11:00 p.m. Street sweeper begins cleanup

From East of Mays St / North of Rt. 79:
Mays Street closed at Rt. 79. Enter downtown from Georgetown  St.

From East of Mays St. / South of Gattis School Rd.:
Mays Street closed at Mays Crossing. Enter Downtown from Burnet St.

Public Parking Available at following locations:
City Hall Parking Garage (S. Lampassas / E. Bagdad) Public lot at E. Liberty / N. Lampassas
Round Rock Public Library (E. Liberty / N. Sheppard St.) Public lot at N. Sheppard St. / E. Liberty

From West of Mays St.:
Mays Street closed between Mays Crossing and Rt. 79.  Enter downtown from Round Rock Avenue or McNeil Rd. Sunset Dr. and Mays Crossing Dr. will be open ONLY for parade participants.
