July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration 2019 and Sertoma July Fourth Parade

FREE event features a parade, fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races and more!

The Sertoma July 4th Parade, fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeño pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, Movies in the Park are all part of the City of Round Rock’s July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration at Old Settlers Park, 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. This year will feature an even grander firework show!

This event is FREE for the entire family. Movies in the Park will feature the family movie Captain Marvel.

Independence Day festivities will begin with music from the Austin Symphonic Band.

The event also features a pepper eating contest, vendor booths, carnival rides and more! Your family will also enjoy the Swifty Swine Pig Races.

 


 

Round Rock Sertoma 2019 July Fourth Parade:

The 2019 Sertoma July 4th Parade is getting bigger and better than ever and will feature giant helium inflatables, marching bands and amazing floats! The route will proceed 1.5 miles on Mays Street, between Mays Crossing and Highway 79.

The Parade will start at 9 a.m. this year to beat the heat!

The Round Rock Sertoma July 4thparade has become a signature event in Round Rock. With 20,000 spectators made up of residents and visitors from Austin, Georgetown and beyond; the event boasts of hometown goodness.

Awards will be presented in the following categories: Mayor’s Award, Community Spirit Award, Best High School Award, Best Float Awards (1st – 3rd), Stars & Stripes Award, Hot Rod Award, Yankee Doodle Dandy Award, Patriotic Performance Award, Firecracker Award & Sparkler Award. Directions to Parade from east of Mays Street:
From east of Mays Street/ north of US-79: Mays Street closed at US-79; enter downtown from Georgetown Street.
From east of Mays Street/ south of Gattis School Rd.: Mays Street closed at Mays Crossing; enter Downtown from Burnet Street.

Public Parking available at the following locations east of Mays Street:

  • City Hall Parking Garage (S. Lampasas / E. Bagdad)
  • Public lot at E. Liberty / N. Lampasas
  • Round Rock Public Library (E. Liberty / N. Sheppard St.)
  • The public lot at N. Sheppard St. / E. Liberty

Directions to Parade from west of Mays Street:
Mays Street will be closed between Mays Crossing and Highway 79.  Enter downtown from Round Rock Avenue or McNeil Rd.
Sunset Dr. and Mays Crossing Dr. will be open ONLY for parade participants.

Public Parking available at the following locations west of Mays Street:

  • City Transit Center (W. Bagdad Ave.)
  • Centennial Plaza (S. Brown St. / McNeil Rd.)
  • Allen R. Baca Senior Center (W. Bagdad Ave.)
