The City is currently designing the Logan Street Connection Project as part of the Round Rock Transportation Master Plan. This project will provide local residents with greater neighborhood connectivity and improved access for emergency vehicles by extending Logan Street to A.W. Grimes Boulevard. Design of the project began in Spring 2018 and will continue through Fall 2019. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2020. Improvements include:
- Constructing a two-lane extension of Logan Street to A.W. Grimes Boulevard with a bridge over Dry Branch Tributary 1
- Connecting Heritage Springs Trail to Logan Street
- Adding sidewalks to both sides of Logan Street
- Connecting trails to Logan Street sidewalks for improved walk-ability to the school and recreation center
We want to share our work with you! The City of Round Rock will work with the community to provide project updates and opportunities to share feedback.
