The City is currently constructing the Logan Street Connection Project as part of the Round Rock Transportation Master Plan. This project will provide local residents with greater neighborhood connectivity and improved access for emergency vehicles by extending Logan Street to A.W. Grimes Boulevard. Construction began in June 2020 and is anticipated to conclude in spring 2021. Improvements include:
- Constructing a two-lane extension of Logan Street to A.W. Grimes Boulevard with a bridge over Dry Branch Tributary 1
- Connecting Heritage Springs Trail to Logan Street
- Adding sidewalks to both sides of Logan Street
- Connecting trails to Logan Street sidewalks for improved walk-ability to the school and recreation center
The project team was excited to share initial plans and collect feedback during two public meetings held on Oct. 4, 2018 and April 2, 2019. Below are links to materials from the 2018 meeting.
