ADA Paratransit Service

What is Paratransit Service?
Paratransit service is a comparable transportation service for those individuals whose disability prevents them from using the regular fixed route.  Specifically, the person’s disability prevents them from being unable to ride any fixed route vehicle, disembark from any fixed route vehicle, or travel independently all or some of the time on any fixed route vehicle.

How do I qualify to use the Paratransit Service?
Complete and submit the ADA Paratransit Eligibility Application (en Espanol).  The second step is an in-person interview.   After the interview you will receive a formal letter of your eligibility determination will be mailed to you within 21 days.

Where can I go with Paratransit Service?
Any origin or destination within the service area.  Please refer to the map below to determine if your origin and destination are in the service area.  Once you enter an address, click the magnifying glass, and if it shows in the blue area the address is in our service area.  If your origin or destination is not within the service area then Paratransit Service cannot be provided.

Do I have to live in the service area to be eligible for the Paratransit Service?
No, you can live anywhere.  You must go through the eligibility process.  If you are approved, you may use the Paratransit Service when you are in the service area.

How much does it cost to ride the Paratransit Service?
The cost is $2.00 cash, per person, each time you board the bus.  If you are travelling with a personal care attendant, that person is not charged.  An advanced trip pass card can be purchased from the Transit Center, 300 W. Bagdad, Round Rock, TX.  Trips pass cards are available in 10 and 20 trips for $20 and $40, respectively.
