CARTS offers Interurban Bus Service from the Transit Center, 300 W. Bagdad Ave., in Round Rock to Georgetown, Taylor, Hutto, Austin and other cities.
Senior Access provides personal transportation services for persons 60 and over who live within their geographic boundaries for medical appointments, personal business, and shopping. The drivers are volunteers; volunteers are always needed. If you are interested in volunteering please visit the website. Senior Access has locations in Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown and Austin.
Capital Metro RideShare is a program from Capital Metro which provides eligible groups of 5-12 riders with a month-to-month vanpool lease agreement including insurance, maintenance, 24-hour roadside assistance and optional fuel purchasing program. This Program is available to citizens outside of the Capital Metro service area.

The purpose of this program is to provide safe and timely transportation to and from the Veterans medical appointments. A driver will pick up the veteran from their home address and transport them to the nearest V.A. Clinic for their medical appointments. Once completed, the veteran will be transported back to their home address. United for the People also accepts donations and sponsorships to keep costs low for veterans, if you are interested in helping please visit the website.
Transportation is provided to the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital in Temple for persons with a scheduled appointment. Call (254) 743-2010 at least one day ahead of time to schedule your ride.
If you have Medicaid, transportation is provided for rides to the doctor, dentist and/or drug store.
