Welcome to our Adulting 101 For Teens series designed to help teens learn skills to prepare for adulthood.
Are you preparing to interview for a new job, internship, or volunteer opportunity? Join us for a discussion on interview preparation, confidence building and effective communication techniques when interacting with others face-to-face and virtually. We’ll share practical tips to help you build stories to highlight your strengths and create a positive interview experience.
This presentation will be in meeting room C at the Library, with space for social distancing.
Speaker Bio: Lisa Pierce-Jones is Assistant Director, Human Resources with the City of Round Rock, who works to attract, engage and retain the best talent to provide quality service to the citizens of Round Rock. In order to build a culture of exceptional service for our customers, external and internal, Lisa works with the Human Resources team to promote customer conscious attitudes within the organization by defining clear and understandable standards for employees. Her best work is accomplished when employees collaborate as a team. Lisa has worked with public and private entities in Human Resources and Organizational Development for 20 years.
