Astronomy At Home

Learn more about the upcoming Annular Solar Eclipse at this presentation by Dr. Mark Bottorff, Physics Department Chair, Fountainwood Observatory Director, Southwestern University and Bruce Campney, president of the Williamson County Astronomy Club. They will share information and resources to prepare you for this exciting event.

This activity is part of The Moon and Beyond, a series of events in September and October in support of RRPL’s One Community Four Books program. All attendees will win a free pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses to use for the eclipses visible in Round Rock on Oct. 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024.
