Beaujolais Nouveau Festival – Beaujolais Nights
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Centennial Plaza, 301 West Bagdad, Downtown Round Rock
FREE and RESERVED
It’s an award-winning festival! It’s also a global celebration in the name of wine; it’s Round Rock’s Beaujolais Nights! Partaking in tradition nearly 70 years old, Round Rock will crack open the first bottles from this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau harvest at the same time as the rest of the world – on the Third Thursday of November. To add Texas Panache, we’re hosting not one, but three nights of merriment, and they’re all gratuit (that’s French for FREE!)…and some of them might be a little whimsical too (spoiler alert: mimes, waiter races, jazz…).
We’ll get the ball rolling by uncorking this unfussy French wine under the twinkling stars at our live jazz soirée on November 21st with food music, wine and fun. Let’s raise a glass, or three, of good cheer, and laissez les bon temps rouler (for those who don’t speak Cajun, “let the good times roll”) at BEAUJOLAIS NIGHTS.
This is a FREE event for anyone 21+.
Features at Beaujolais Nights: The 2019 Georges Duboeuf with Special Guests: Laura Runge – Nouveau 2019 Label Design contest winner with Poster Signing; Romain Teyteau – Georges Dubouef Export Director/Brand Ambassador; and Dannie Simross, Texas State Manager Quintessential Wines, Napa, California. Vaudeville-styled amenities include a Band: The Copa Kings with a Dance Floor, a French Movie, Face Painter, Balloon Artist, Mime artist, Stilt Walker, Juggler, Magician, Caricature Artist, Plein Air Round Rock painters, a Snow Globe, and Local Arts Groups!
