Beginning Genealogy Class

If you’re interested in beginning your family research, join us for a Beginning Genealogy Class, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29, Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room A. This free class is for those wanting to get started or for those who are restarting the process.

In this class, you will learn about:

  • Types of records
  • Local resources
  • Software
  • Organization

REGISTER

There will be a 30-minute break, so bring a sack lunch. A computer is not required.

About the instructor:

Betty Jean Steinke has been doing genealogy research for 45+ years. She has taught beginners for many years. She is currently responsible for the 400+-member genealogy group in Sun City and holds membership in four different genealogical societies.
