College Admissions 101 for Teens (ages 12-18)

Virtual presentation via Microsoft Teams

September 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

| Free

Liz Pack with Collegewise has presented as part of library’s Adulting 101 for Teens series for the past couple of years, and has shared some valuable information on applying to college.  On September 22 she is offering this presentation via Microsoft Teams, hosted by The Round Rock Public Library.

“This webinar will help families separate college admissions fact from fiction and enjoy the college process a little more. We’ll discuss grades, test scores, activities, and everything else colleges evaluate, including how COVID-19 impacts admissions. Attendees will get straight answers about what college admissions committees really look for and how they ultimately decide who gets in. And we think teens and parents will be pleasantly surprised to learn that teens don’t have to be trilingual, opera-singing rocket scientists to get into college today.”

Teens will register, but parents are welcome to sit in alongside their teen/teens.  Online attendees is limited to 20 students. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation via Eventbrite or call 512-218-3275.
