Welcome to our new series designed to help teens develop life skills and knowledge to survive adulthood. We will have presenters on lots of topics the first Tuesday of every month, and our Spring series will run February-May.
At our May program meet Jessica Woods, Water Conservation Specialist with The City Of Round Rock, and she has lots of cool information to share with us.
Everyone uses water every day, whether it’s in the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, or outside. Come learn how to make some easy changes and measurements to make your home more water conserving by:
- Checking for a leaking toilet flapper and learning how to fix it
- Reading your water bill to understand what it all means.
- Learn how to use a rain barrel to collect rain to water your plants.
