Meet the Artists at the Downtowner Gallery Open House!

Enjoy the “Plastic” exhibit with refreshments, mingle with artists and art aficionados, and interact with members of the nonprofit Round Rock Arts to learn how to get involved in their visual art nonprofit organization. The “Plastic” exhibit will be on view May 11-July 7, 2023.

About the exhibit:

Plastic — a pervasive manufactured material. Viewed as an inescapable evil or hailed as a lifesaving miracle, it is able to be manipulated both physically and figuratively speaking in myriad ways. We asked artists to stretch their plasticity and contribute artworks in a variety of mediums, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional. The exhibit features works by local and area artists, including emerging artists, mid-career and seasoned artists too.

Art from this exhibit is available for purchase, and we also have a gift shop featuring local/area artists!
