Eclipse Writing Workshop with Austin Bat Cave (Ages 9-14) (Preregistration)

Austin Bat Cave will offer an eclipse-themed writing workshop. Young writers, ages 9-14, will journal and tell stories about the opportunities that eclipses offer as endings, and new beginnings. All writers who participate will have the opportunity to submit their work to the Austin Bat Cave annual Anthology!

Preregister to join the fun on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 5:00 pm in the second-floor youth program space.

Please Note: Online preregistration is required. This program is for youth ages 9-14 only. Those who arrive more than five minutes late may forfeit their space(s). If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation via Eventbrite or call 512-218-7002.

This activity is part of The Moon and Beyond, a series of events in September and October in support of RRPL’s One Community Four Books program. Some attendees will win a free pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses to use for the eclipses visible in Round Rock on Oct. 14, 2023, and April 8, 2024.
