To all aspiring poets. Here is a workshop for you!

The Round Rock Public Library and author Charles Waters invite teens (ages 13-18) to register for a VIRTUAL poetry workshop on Monday, April 5, 2021. Award-winning children’s poet, Charles Waters, will show you his process on crafting poems and help you find the tools to write your own!  Preregister to join us online at 6:00 pm. 

Charles Waters is the co-author (with his poetic forever friend, Irene Latham) of the award-winning book Can I Touch Your Hair? Poems of Race, Mistakes and Friendship and Dictionary For A Better World: Poems, Quotes and Anecdotes from A – Z.  As a professional actor, he’s toured with multiple theatre companies, acted in shows for Walt Disney World, and appeared in various TV shows and commercials.
