PreK Playtime: What grows here?
August 25 @ 9:30 am – 10:10 am
Let’s meet the plants and animals all around us!
Sign up for one of the 30-minute PreK Playtime: What Grows Here? sessions. Explore a variety of creative play and STEM stations at your child’s own pace.
Families with children of all ages are welcome, but children ages 18 months – 6 years old will enjoy it best. Some stations may not be appropriate for children who put toys in their mouths.
Each session is come-and-go in the library’s meeting rooms, for 30 – 40 minutes. We will reset the stations and air out the room between sessions. Sessions are available at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
We will limit each session to 30 families. Reservations are recommended. Please reserve one ticket per family group (up to five individuals).
Reservations open August 17 , and close 2 hours before each session.
Please Note: If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation via Eventbrite or call 512-218-3275.
This activity replaces the regularly scheduled Wednesday and Thursday morning Toddlertime and Preschool Storytime programs.
This program is part of our #PlantWildflowers grant. Participants may bring home a packet of local wildflower seeds to create their own #OneSquareFoot meadow for butterflies and other native pollinators.
