There are many study carrels on the second floor and it is quieter there.
The library has five small study rooms that can accommodate up to 2 people and one larger group study room that holds groups of 3-6 people.
They are available on a first come, first serve basis and are guaranteed for one hour.
Our library houses the Williamson County Genealogy Society's collection. We also have books, online electronic resources, and the Round Rock Leader newspaper on microfilm to assist you with your research.

Overdue fines are $0.20 per day, up to an $8.00 maximum per item.
Fines are charged on holidays as well as on the days we are open. There are two book drops available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week behind the library and are accessible off Liberty Street.
Lost or damaged item fines are the replacement cost of the item + additional fees for non-book items.
There are two drive-through bookdrops on the west side of the library off of Liberty Street.
One is for books and one is for DVDs/CDs.
How Many Item May I Check Out?Generally, new single members may check out five items during the first month of membership and 15 items thereafter. New family card members may check out 15 items during the first month of membership and 45 items thereafter.
For How Long May I Check Out My Items?Most library material may be checked out for three weeks, music CDs and audiobook CDs. Bluebonnet books, New Books, and DVDs may be checked out for two weeks.For additional questions, please see our circulation policies or call 512.218.7000.
- A valid drivers license or a valid state-issued identification with current address.
- A photo ID AND a printed document that includes your name and current address, such as a car insurance card, a bill, a check, a bank statement, or a lease.
