Should I assume that Municipal Court knows that I received more than one violation on my ticket?

The court handles each offense that you have been charged with individually. If you were charged with more that one violation, the law requires you to respond to each one individually. If you do not dispose of each one individually, you may have a warrant issued for your arrest on the one that was not resolved. The court is not responsible for telling you how many charges you have outstanding.
