July 2, 2021 Update: The Round Rock Police Department have arrested two additional suspects on the charge of Capital Murder in relation to the September 2020 death of Adam Hilzer. The juvenile suspects, Round Rock residents aged 15 and 16, turned themselves in on July 1, 2021 and are currently booked into the Williamson Juvenile Justice Center. At this point, all suspects are in custody.

June 1, 2021 Update: Raymond Salazar Jr., 19, was apprehended Tuesday morning, June 1, 2021, in Southeast Houston by the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force. He is being booked into Fort Bend County Jail on a charge of Capital Murder, stemming from a September 2020 incident in Round Rock.  Thank you to the USMS Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, Texas Department of Public Safety, Houston Gang Task Force, and other agencies for assisting with this case.

At approximately 3:40pm Sept. 25, 2020, RRPD received a report of a male with a stab wound on Rawhide Loop in Round Rock. Adam Hilzer, 17, was transported to the hospital where he would succumb to his injuries.
