Round Rock offers free bus rides on Election Day

Round Rock voters can enjoy a free ride to the polls during the upcoming election.

Free bus rides will be offered Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3 on all Round Rock routes in conjunction with CapMetro‘s “Ride to Vote” initiative. Round Rock’s Star Shuttle paratransit buses will also be included in the free ride promotion, provided riders follow the City of Round Rock’s reservation procedures.

To find out which route will best serve you as you head out to vote, check out CapMetro’s list of polling locations matched with transit options. Also, if you use CapMetro’s Trip Planner online or on the CapMetro App, all you have to do is type in “election” or “polling place” into the search bar, and you’ll get a list of voting options. The results will include polling locations in both Travis and Williamson Counties.

Election information, including a list of polling places, can be found on the websites for Travis County and Williamson County.

Note: Masks are required on all CapMetro buses.
