Mystery Night at the Library

Join the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library for The Death of Shirley: the End of the Line, the 27th production of Mystery Night Dinner Theater, April 5-7 and April 12-14, Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room C. It is a truly interactive audience participation production and “FUN”draiser!

Shirley Drake is dying and her fortune is up for grabs. A bus load of strangers has a chance to become rich. Who will inherit her billions? One thing is certain, some people will do anything for that kind of money. Lie, cheat, steal, even murder; nothing is off the table.

Friday Shows 7 p.m.—$20—Hoody Subs & Dessert

Saturday Shows 7 p.m.—$25—Dinner & Dessert

Sunday Shows 2:30 p.m.—$18—Dessert, Coffee and Tea

  • Walk-Ins welcome on the day of the event; however, there is an additional $5 fee on Friday and Saturday Night shows.
  • Doors open 30 minutes before each show.
  • Please be aware, online ticket sales will END the day BEFORE the performance date at 5 p.m. for Friday and Saturday night performances and noon for Sunday performances. (Refunds up to 1 day before event.)

This adult event may be suitable for ages 10 and up.

Chinese Bilingual Storytime

The Round Rock Public Library presents Chinese Bilingual Storytime the first Tuesday of each month, at 10:30 a.m. in Room B.

This program, developed for ages 3 and up, celebrates Chinese culture with stories, fingerplays, songs, and other activities in both English and Mandarin.

The regular monthly rotation of Bilingual programs:

  • 1st Tuesday: Chinese (ages 3-6)
  • 2nd Tuesday: Spanish (ages 3-6)
  • 3rd Tuesday: American Sign Language (ages 1-6)
  • 4th Tuesday: Spanish (ages 3-6)
  • 5th Tuesday: Spanish (ages 3-6)

Rockin’ Kids Club: storyteller Elizabeth Kahura (ages 5+)

Join us at Round Rock Public Library for an African Safari with storyteller Elizabeth Kaura on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 4:30 pm. Born in Kenya, Ms. Kahura shares her knowledge of Africa and its many wonders.

Monday afternoons the Library hosts a rotating set of activities. Join the fun at 4:30 pm.

Regular activities:

  • 1st Monday: LEGO® free-build
  • 2nd Monday: Art Club
  • 3rd Monday: Science Club
  • 4th Monday: Game On!

Guidelines:

  1. Please arrive on time.
  2. Younger children may require parental assistance.
  3. You do not need to pre-register to attend these programs unless you are bringing six or more children.
