Join us for an art reception celebrating the exhibit “Fractured Worlds,” by Shefali O’Hara, Thursday, Jan. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Round Rock Public Library, Gallery.

About the Exhibit

In “Fractured Worlds,” Shefali O’Hara explores the movement of color through a process of visual dissonance using her unique mixed media painting technique. She invented this technique as a way of exploring a different view of light and color. Interspersed with these newer mixed media paintings will be more classic watercolors and ink paintings. Ms. O’Hara likes brilliant colors and often uses whimsy to evoke joyful emotions with her work. Many of her paintings will be for sale and prints are available for all of them. Ms. O’Hara is a Round Rock-based artist, former engineer and type IV cancer survivor. Please contact her at shefali.ohara@gmail.com if interested in commissions or prints. Her Facebook artist’s page is Austinlace and is regularly updated with her new art.
