City Council Meeting

Round Rock’s City Council meets at City Hall in downtown Round Rock on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, unless otherwise indicated. Agendas are posted on our web site at least 72 hours before a meeting. Council meetings are televised on cable channel 10.

Beginning June 1 and continuing until further notice, the City will be using videoconferencing (powered by Zoom) as a way for the public to speak at public meetings that are subject to the Open Meetings Act, in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”).  The City Council will be in the City Council chambers for the meeting, however members of the public may choose to appear in person or speak via Zoom.   To register to speak during Citizen Communication at this meeting, please use the registration link below AND contact the City Clerk at swhite@roundrocktexas.gov, providing your name, address, phone number and email, as well as the name of the meeting and agenda item number you wish to speak on.  Please note that the 3-minute time limit to speak is still in effect and will be enforced.   As always, all members of the public may watch all public meetings live online at roundrocktexas.gov/replay or roundrocktexas.gov/tv, as well as on Spectrum channel 10 and U-Verse channel 99. There is no registration required to simply watch the meeting.

Meeting information as it relates to COVID-19:
This meeting will still be held in person in the Council Chambers located in City Hall and open to the public as required by law.  We will be practicing social distancing as much as it is possible.  Seats in the audience will be blocked off to allow for the recommended distance between people for those that wish/need to attend.  If the number of people wishing to speak at citizen communication or at a public hearing were to become too large, it may become necessary to only allow one person at a time to enter and speak.  The public is able to watch the meeting in the lobby while waiting their turn to speak.  As always, the public has the ability to watch this meeting and all public city meetings online during, and after the meeting at the link provided below.
