Williamson County Genealogical Society Meeting

The Williamson County Genealogical Society meets on the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room A. Meetings are open to the public. A different topic is discussed each month, providing an excellent resource to those interested in learning about their family history.

Join us in January for Saving Your Stories Online for Future Generations. You have worked hard researching your family history; making sure you got it right by documenting your findings and citing all your work. How do you get your family and friends excited about your family history? How can you share all this information with everyone? Perhaps the answer to this question involves where you keep all the information and how easy it is to find.

In this presentation Tracie McFadden Burns will show you how to use free online sites to store and protect your information and at the same time, make it available to those you want to see it.
